I've always pictured it like this.

A vulture uses death as it's weapon of choice, nothing can escape it.

Eating the remains is just reaping up the reward.

Isn't that cannibalism for you?

Crocodile is hard to come by, and honestly not worth the effort. Think stringey chicken but fishier.
